Angels

Angels are everywhere. Just look around. The little old lady down the street who shares the tomatoes from her garden with her neighbors; the school bus driver, who after work, cooks meals to take to the homeless; the high school student, who selflessly reads to those at the local senior citizens home.

You’ll also find that if you’re suddenly facing breast cancer, there will be angels everywhere you look. Certainly your doctor, radiologist and nurses will be angels, dedicated to making you well and making your treatment as comfortable as possible. You’ll find breast cancer support groups who are dedicated to being there for you; to lend a helping hand when you need one and a shoulder to cry on when things seems overwhelming.

You can be sure there will be days when you will feel overwhelmed; totally and completely, but the more people you’re prepared to open up to, the more help you’ll find is there. This is not the time to withdraw. This is the time to really learn what living life is all about!

Our motto is “No Victims. Just Survivors,” and we mean every word of it. We can help you if you are willing to help yourself. We can beat this thing together but if we do, there is one catch.

Now you get to be an angel to someone else.
