The growth of the 1 in 8 Foundation has been truly gratifying and the 1 in 8 Motorsports Series, an element of the Foundation was recently named the fastest growing motorsports charity in the world. When we are asked what the secret of our success has been, we know that it’s no secret. We have been able to accomplish what we have for one reason and one reason alone – caring people.

People from all over the world have stepped up to help us raise money, spread the word of our mission and create initiatives of their own, to help grow the organization. That’s why when people ask us how they can help, the answer is actually very simple; any way you like!

We raise the funding for the foundation in many ways, ranging from conventional fundraising events to the building of custom vehicles that are auctioned off at the end of each year. A 1 in 8 event can be something as simple as a back yard Barbeque, where you invite all your neighbors to bring their favorite dishes from home and a monetary donation for the foundation, to a full fledged event like those mentioned on our Initiatives Page. We have a special travel program that allows you to book inexpensive travel through our partner YTB and a portion of that booking fee is gifted back to the 1 in 8.

What is most important to us however, is that what you elect to do is also fun. As far as we’re concerned, no idea is out of the question from seasonal events to musical events, cake sales, fashion shows, art sales to plant drives.
